Cream, black, and rust-orange push up against each other, but it’s the jagged cream outlines that separate the damp bridge from the inky, rain-splattered world beneath. Overhead, bold black capitals edged in scratched cream spell out Rain Check in heavy type, followed by orange Session lettering that matches the streaks reflected below. A much quieter cream strip runs inside the composition, holding smaller block letters for Under the Overpass—the only softer note amid the aggressive diagonals and crosshairs.
- A single figure in a hooded jacket, seen from behind, balances a skateboard vertically as they face the cityscape ahead.
- Slanted overpass beams, orange tape-like bands, and three off-centre crosshair motifs pull the eye beyond the picture’s crowded middle.
