Design story & product details
Bold, all-capital lettering stretches across the surface, with the first line—WINDOW—nearly filling the available width in tall, confident serif type. Each letter’s edge is crisp, emphasizing slight overlaps created by pronounced serifs that nearly touch from one letter to the next. Directly below, STILL LIT appears left-aligned in the same white serif, but with letters just a bit smaller, matching the proportion yet leaving notable space to the right.
That empty area holds a carefully stitched rectangular icon. It reflects a window with two vertical mullions, one pane worked in tan-gold and the other remaining unfilled but framed in gray, their subtle contrast contained by a white outline that’s as substantial as the lettering itself. The icon sits neatly at baseline with the text, weighted so neither dominates the panel. All of this is set against a uniform flat gray background, free of gradients or additional graphics.
Every detail is adapted to the surface of a cuffed beanie, where embroidery translates the bold serif into clean threadwork and preserves the subtle window icon. The text means exactly what it says. Suitable for anyone drawn to a type-led approach with a small pictorial detail for extra interest.
