Design story & product details
White space gives the artwork a clean break around an uneven stack of records, with “Record” stretched nearly edge to edge and “the Good” held apart from “times” below. On the Heavyweight Unisex Crewneck T-shirt, the design reads as a worn music graphic: heavy rounded letters carry pale grey tops and green bottoms, crossed by narrow green lines, dark edging, and a slightly shifted shadow.
A crowded collision of rough circular discs brings black, muted grey-green, red, turquoise, and yellow-orange into the image. Groove rings ripple across them, while tiny holes and pale cream labels interrupt the surfaces; the labels carry minute dark marks. Within the collage, a large grey-green record anchors the cluster, and a yellow-orange disc with a black centre fills its lower portion. White scuffs, speckles, and scratches run over both the records and lettering, breaking the dark outlines without flattening the layered image. White gaps between their rough edges prevent the pile from becoming one solid block.
