Design story & product details
Red, cream and black work in sharp layers here: the red words Ride Hard Live Free carry cream edging and black shadowing, while their heavy Western serifs break into long curled flourishes. A cream-and-black longhorn skull cuts through the upper lettering, with its horns rising beside a fine horizontal ornament. The small four-point details in the open gaps are easy to miss, as are the clear white spaces left between the outer edges of the illustration.
On the Heavyweight Unisex Crewneck T-shirt, the lower scene brings a black-hatted rider into the red distressed circle, neck scarf visible as he holds a long gun upright from a dark horse. Cream marks pick out the reins, saddle straps, mane, clothing creases and the horse’s lifted legs without softening the dark silhouette. Narrow cream streaks cross the red field behind them. Dust gathers densely around the hooves, while low flat-topped rock formations flank the scene and the bottom lettering curves outward in oversized swashes.
