Design story & product details
A black, cream, and muted-gold portrait gives Sejong Engraved Legacy its scale: a bearded figure turns slightly to the right beneath a tall dark hat with two rounded upright lobes. Fine engraved hatching defines the moustache, pointed beard, face, and folds of his robe, tightening at the contours.
Gold curling motifs cover the hat sides, shoulder panels, and rounded chest medallion, carrying muted gold through dense dark linework. On the heavyweight unisex crewneck T-shirt, his shoulders cross a narrow geometric frame edged in dark lines, so the border remains partly hidden by the figure.
At the base, Korean lettering names Sejong; in English, the same name appears beneath it. The large cream-gold characters have thin dark outlines and irregular tapered strokes, while the small serif capitals are widely spaced.
Behind the head, the gold border rises into a stepped arch with a small peaked top. Rectangular ornaments interrupt both vertical sides, and broad white space is deliberately retained around the head and inside the angular lower lettering panel, a pause against the densely worked portrait.
