Heavy, tall geometric letters spell SEONGSU in a single unbroken row, their narrow intervals making the word read as one dense construction. On the Heavyweight Unisex Crewneck T-shirt, the lettering is built from muted beige and dark charcoal-grey planes, edged with slim dark rules that suggest joined material. Seongsu is a Korean name meaning “sacred water,” rendered here in Roman letters.
- Each character shifts between rectangular fields and softened corners, with clipped diagonals interrupting the strict block structure.
- The two S forms carry the most pronounced folded-strip effect at their diagonal turns, while the N repeats that seam-led construction through its middle.
- Pale scratches, sparse speckles, and rubbed areas break the fills; even the O’s narrow rectangular counter feels deliberately structural.
The U remains open deep at the top, a small contrast to the enclosed O and the compact run of adjoining forms. Its outlines do more than divide colour: they give the alternating panels a cut-and-assembled rhythm.
