Design story & product details
The print renders Seoul Bookstore in dark navy linework across the white ground of a Heavy Blend Unisex Crewneck Sweatshirt. The storefront’s broad sign carries large serif letters with white interiors held by thin outlines. Its baseline follows the facade’s slope, giving the drawing its angled perspective; parallel rules above and below make the name read as part of the building. The lettering is not arched, moving with the sign’s receding edge.
Tall upper windows are divided into narrow inset panels, and brief diagonal marks suggest reflections beneath small outlined fixtures. Below the sign, tightly packed shelving is drawn as rows of narrow spines. A glazed central doorway with rectangular lower panels opens to shallow steps, while outlined potted plants gather at both lower corners, especially on the left. Their measured geometry contrasts with the looser foliage without adding another word to the scene. The artwork’s only wording, “SEOUL BOOKSTORE,” names the shop in English.
