Design story & product details
White space around the outer edge gives Shine As Yourself room to breathe, even as the illustration pulls inward. A seated woman with a loose high bun of black hair rests one hand under her chin, her bent legs running along the lower edge. Her oversized jacket, relaxed trousers and chunky lace-up shoes are worked in cream, grey and black, while a pointed pink crown overlaps the lettering above. The crown is sharply pointed, a small interruption in the dense type.
The Heavyweight Unisex Crewneck T-shirt holds angular Korean lettering pressing in from the upper left in two slanted rows. The words are Korean and mean “Shine as yourself,” matching the title without repeating the Hangul. Distressed cream letters carry heavy black borders and pink offset accents. Checkerboard fragments break up the space behind the legs and at the right, while a long four-point star holds the upper corner.
- Thin pink elliptical loops weave behind the figure and lettering.
- Outlined stars, two pink hearts, and scattered dots punctuate the surround.
