Just under the thick navy stencilled word SKATES, a looped strap threads above the A and snakes down between the words and the sketched ice skates. The careful detail carries through to the rust-orange laces, each threading crossing the boots and anchoring to small outlined eyelets. Along the bottom edge, a ribbed guard is drawn at a tilt and edged by three rust arrows that seem to point out its importance, reinforced by faint cream leader lines from the BLADE GUARD label.
