Design story & product details
The small circular wave mark beneath the pale teal banner is easy to miss, but it neatly closes the emblem’s sea-going vocabulary. Slow Tide Club on the Unisex Longsleeve T-shirt builds its circular artwork around a gray-blue humpback, whose pale, speckled belly and extended fin cut through pale green-white curls of water. A navy field, roughened with scattered flecks, gives the cream arched lettering a suitably weathered surround. Its heavy serif letters follow the rim with a dark edge, while thin green scrollwork, pinprick dots, and little stars trace the outer boundary against the gray ground.
Celestial details make the composition less literal: a purple ringed planet and orange crescent hover beside the whale, and a green sun face sends pointed rays between lavender cloud swirls. Under the headline, the Korean words mean whale’s dream, followed by Drift Softly in small, widely spaced cream type held between fine rules and diamond marks. The Ocean Minded banner uses a navy outline that echoes the headline, linking the lowermost text to the emblem’s darker interior without flattening the different colors in the process.
