Design story & product details

The lettering is heavy plum blackletter, the old tattoo-flash kind, with a curling swash on the S of Small Talk and a huge, flourished P and L carrying Permanent Lines. The joke is something every tattoo client knows: the chat in the chair drifts off, and the ink stays forever.

Between the two lines, an engraved artist with a messy bun and floral sleeves stretches the skin and pulls a wavy line under the lamp. Those sleeves make the tank worth wearing. It suits the tattoo artist who listens to stories all day.
