Design story & product details
On this Unisex Longsleeve T-shirt, a solid black hill rises through the lower field, its irregular crest gradually falling to the right. Sparse ochre scratches and minute specks break the dark area, while short black marks trace grass along its edge. A leafless tree just left of centre carries the visual weight: its thick trunk bends slightly before dividing into a tight web of overlapping limbs, each resolving in pointed twigs. Small open circles mingle with dots through the branches and the space immediately beyond them.
- The hill is a single dark mass, interrupted by ochre abrasion-like marks instead of a smooth flat fill.
- The figure at right turns rightward, with rounded black hair, only a narrow pale sliver of face, an ochre coat that flares at the hem, and two fine black legs.
- Several separate black dots remain high in the open field, where the upper right is deliberately left broad and bare.
The composition brings a small person near a large rooted form without adding a caption or slogan. Fine dark stippling across the coat gives the ochre area a grain that echoes the scattered marks in the hill, tying the two parts together.
