Nothing crowds the open space beside his helmet, and that is the whole idea. A pencil-drawn astronaut leans back on this crewneck sweatshirt with his hands folded and one boot propped on the lettering, as if the universe can wait. Below him, Solitude Suits Me is spelled out in heavy, smudgy serif capitals, and the pun on his spacesuit lands quietly.

My favorite detail is the rust-orange band on his sleeve, the only color in the drawing. It suits the introvert who thinks a quiet weekend at home is a good plan.
