Design story & product details
An illustrated apology unfolds across the front, its large golden-orange words tightly stacked, heavy serif lettering worn with thin cracks and a black speckled outline. Dense olive-green fern fronds twist around and behind each phrase, especially crowding around “thirsty”, the largest word, while the upper left is filled with overlapping text and interwoven leaves. At upper right, a peach-toned hand in a dark green cuff tips an olive watering can, streams curving down into a terracotta pot set on a spotty cream-and-black patch, below which long fern fronds tumble, their mixed green and orange-brown tips scattering visually over the lower part of the print.
- The watering can’s pale cream streams curve distinctly, separating into fine lines before they meet the overflowing fern pot below.
