Design story & product details
Short, separated rays ring the small yellow sun at the upper-left edge of an orange-red oval. Beneath it, Summer Is the Best brings two tightly stacked rows of oversized Korean lettering to the Heavyweight Unisex Crewneck T-shirt. The words mean “summer is the best,” and their yellow rounded block forms climb gently toward the right, held by dark outlines and substantial shadows cast down and right. The two lines press closely together, leaving little air within the coloured silhouette.
A dark green palm enters from the upper right. Its curved trunk is broken into segments and disappears behind the lettering, while pointed fronds, each cut with triangular notches, reach past the oval. The palm foliage extends beyond the coloured field. Several characters at the lower edge also break the boundary, leaving most of the surrounding area unmarked.
Pale scratches, speckles, and thin branching cracks travel across the oval, lettering, sun, and palm in uneven courses. They interrupt the solid colour without erasing the heavy contours, giving the layers a worn, screened surface. The overlapping elements pack the middle of the graphic while open space stays chiefly beyond its silhouette.
