Design story & product details

The navy ink over pale grey-white makes the whole drawing look like an old engraving, and that suits the subject. A helmeted climber in a harness rappels down a twisted rope, drawn from below so the lug-soled boots swing straight at you. Take the Rooftops runs in jagged, flared letters around the climber, and the lower boot stomps right through the last word.

My favorite detail is the black visor, with two small lit windows reflected in it. Put it on a hoodie for the friend who spends every weekend at the climbing gym.
