Design story & product details

Small screws hold the scuffed metal taps to the sole of the lifted shoe, and that worn plate is where the joke starts. Tap shoes hit a footlit stage between fringed curtains, drawn in copper and black like an old vaudeville poster. Underneath, the heavyweight crewneck tee says it plainly: The Floor Had It Coming. It is a dancer’s way of shrugging off all that noise.

It suits anyone who grew up in tap class or still goes to the Saturday adult session. Give it to a tap teacher after the spring recital.
