Design story & product details
At the outer edges, thin black capitals run vertically, one letter at a time, on gray margins: “The Narrow World We See” to the left and “The Small World We Live In” to the right. Their even spacing and unembellished sans-serif strokes form a quiet counterpoint to the compressed city view between them. Each phrase resolves as a full sentence down its respective edge, while the architecture remains locked within a narrow upright channel.
The Narrow World is a monochrome street-canyon image for a Heavy Blend Unisex Crewneck Sweatshirt, built around the spire of the Empire State Building framed by near-black facades. Flat gray sky meets posterized bands of black, white, and gray, giving the photograph a deliberately reduced surface.
