Design story & product details
Heavy, uneven white brushstrokes cut across a curling black banner with Korean words meaning “Today I fight.” The lettering gives the artwork its name and interrupts the otherwise black-and-white figure with a hard, hand-worked rhythm. On the Heavyweight Unisex Crewneck T-shirt, the banner gathers beneath an armored fighter standing with legs apart, its flame-like edge curling around the boots.
A tall pointed shield brings a second, denser field of detail to the figure: thick double borders run around its edge, dotted like rivets, while an angular dragon-like device breaks through the dark interior. A wrapped sword grip rises diagonally from behind one shoulder. Torn cape strips fall on both sides in separate pointed lengths, leaving irregular white gaps that keep the silhouette from becoming one solid mass.
The helmet is closed and rounded at the crest, built from curved ridges and closely engraved panels. Scrolls, curls, stippling, and fine hatching cover the overlapping plates of the shoulders, arms, thighs, and shins, with pale etched marks held against black recesses. Blank surrounding space gives the narrow composition room to remain sharply defined.
