"Undong Mani Doenda" Classic Dad Hat · Embroidered

A curved black ribbon banner arcs across the upper portion, forming the largest shape in the artwork. Its pointed swallowtail ends break into fine ribbed sections on both sides. Gold Korean lettering and the romanized word Undong run within the banner in a condensed serif treatment. The Korean words mean “you get a lot of exercise,” so the phrase carries a direct, active message without adding another scene.

Beneath it, larger Mani Doenda lettering stretches wide in block serifs, its gold faces cut with dark beveled edges and a heavy black shadow. The letterforms stay uniform in weight, slightly compressed, and sharply serifed. The tight gap between the two lettering bands makes the composition read as one compact emblem. On the Classic Dad Hat, embroidery follows those angular letter edges and the banner’s curved route, while the open lower area leaves the ornament line unobstructed.
