A painted cyclist in a rust-red jersey hauls a slate-blue road bike up a road that bends nearly vertical. On this sweatshirt, the slanted words Uphill Was Understated climb the slope beside him, saying what every rider thinks halfway up.

The brushy, textured paint makes it look like an old race poster. It suits the riding buddy who always swears the next hill is the last one.
