Broad wings travel out from the head with angular raised upper edges, sharp outer points, and lower edges cut into deep scallops. Pale membrane lines fan out from the upper joints, while muted plum-brown outlines contain pale beige areas worked with dense hatching and stippled marks. Short textural strokes give the face and chest a lightly furred finish.
