Design story & product details
An almost empty cream sky leaves room for a few thin cloud marks and the broad upward arch of VINTAGE RIDES. Heavy black serif capitals carry solid fills, with no border breaking their edges. Below, a bearded rider heads right in side view, his helmet and goggles giving a compact profile over the motorcycle. The artwork on the unisex crewneck T-shirt keeps the pale ground and sky open enough for the dense black contours to register.
His gloves hold the bars while boots meet uneven ground, and the large backpack is secured with straps across its several pockets. Both wheels are packed with spokes; a round headlamp, raised mirrors, pale rounded tank, exposed engine fins and a long low exhaust define the machine. Jagged peaks run behind the rider, dark conifers crowd either side, and rocks with grass tufts close the lower edge. Fine hatching and gray shading work through pale cream areas, giving the landscape its worn illustrated depth.
