A cluster of conifer trees breaks up the bare rock just above a curved railway, and the track disappears quietly into a tunnel carved out of one heavy stone bluff. Near the tunnel’s dark entrance, a simple platform nestles against the cliff, marked by a small wooden bench and a modest canopy. Even the metal railings appear precisely lined, running along the edge for a sense of scale and safety within the vast setting.
Dense clouds gather at valley level, rising to shield part of the tracks and slopes from sight. Their rounded forms contrast with the sharp peaks that claim the upper reaches of the sketch, where stippling and fine crosshatching create deep shadows and varying textures throughout the landscape.
