Huge cream wings with rust-red undersides spread over an armored angel, the kind of guardian you’d expect to save the world. Instead, it stares at a bronze pendulum swinging from a gold rod while “Watch it swing. Watch it again.” runs down both sides. Then “Miss the bus.” lands at the bottom in big, worn rust-red letters.

The flaming sword it ignores makes the joke on this crewneck sweatshirt. It’s a great pick for a college student who’s always late for the morning bus.
