Tall cream capitals, cut with thin black stripes and pushed out with deep navy shadows, climb on a slant to ask, “Who said nothing happens this late?” The answer falls right under them as meteors with orange-red tips streak past two friends in camp chairs. One holds up binoculars and the other leans back with hands behind the head. On this oversized tee, the best detail is the small navy triangle with a star chart, pines and peaks.

It suits the friend who plans a camping trip around a meteor shower.
