Design story & product details
A small joint clamp interrupts the shine of the metal railing, with four-point sparkles picking out its gloss. The thorny rose stem crosses that pipe, bringing a hard, polished surface into a drawing otherwise full of rippling petals, serrated leaves and moving water.
The large open rose stretches into long, ruffled petals that stream to the right as if caught by wind. Fine engraved shading and white highlights give each fold definition, while two leaves extend from the left of the stem. On the Heavy Blend Unisex Crewneck Sweatshirt, the monochrome grayscale artwork gathers its dense detail through the top and middle, leaving the gray margins empty.
The Wind curves slightly across the first line of lettering, followed by Chose My and the larger Hairstyle. Those words turn windblown hair into a dry joke, delivered in ornate blackletter-style capitals with heavy strokes and pointed serifs. White letter faces, dark outlines and shaded edges build a three-dimensional effect, while thorny vines weave between the letters.
Cresting ocean waves finish the lower edge with white foam, and the thin Atlantic Crossing line runs between small diamonds beneath them. It suits someone who likes elaborate floral drawing with a little humor in the lettering.
