Design story & product details
A black-and-gray tree gives Winter Tree Moon its full structure, with a thick, streaked trunk dividing into bare branches that knit tightly through the right side. Made for the Heavyweight Unisex Crewneck T-shirt, the artwork holds to that single tree, its angular dark rocks grounded beneath the trunk and its pale, mottled moon caught behind the upper-left limbs. The branch network is dense enough to read almost like inked grain.
At the far left, two staggered vertical lines of thin black Korean lettering leave a broad field of white beneath them. The words are Korean and mean Like a single tree, always in that place even in winter. Two small birds share a left-reaching branch; their black caps, pale bellies, and gray-brown wings use the same restrained palette as the tree.
Uneven white snow traces the upper edges of branches and caps the rocks in irregular strips. Rust-red leaves and tiny berry clusters break through the gray limbs, while a few loose leaves cross the open ground. White dots, varied in size, pass over both trunk and stone, giving the illustration a layered, weathered surface instead of a flat silhouette.
