Design story & product details
Hollow brown letters spell SUNSET vertically at the left, their forms partly hidden by the woman and foliage. Pale orange condensed capitals on the right read SUN, BEACH & PARTY. Under the illustration, EST. 1961 leads into heavy brown serif BEACH CLUB, followed by the smaller word PARADISE. The lettering is handled as a graphic element within the retro beach illustration, with cream-colored speckling interrupting both the type and the colored fields.
