Design story & product details
A black-and-orange print gives Bold Crown its graphic structure on the Heavy Blend Unisex Crewneck Sweatshirt: a broad orange circle carries the word BOLD in dense black capitals. The letters refuse a shared baseline. B pushes past the circle at left, O rises, L falls lower, and the tall D breaks beyond the right edge.
Orange remains visible through the rectangular openings in B, O, and D, each with a slight skew that keeps the letterforms from feeling mechanically matched. Separate thick black bars run beneath O and D. A black crown crosses the upper middle letters with three pointed peaks, a curved lower line, and the rounded, irregular character of a heavy drawn stroke. Below the crowded lettering, the orange circle opens into a broad clear field.
Flat orange and black fields meet without outlines, so the cutouts become part of the lettering instead of background detail. Solid fills and sharply clipped corners hold the word in a compact block, while the uneven letter heights break its strict geometry. The crown is made with a noticeably softer line than the capitals, giving the graphic two distinct kinds of black mark.
