Design story & product details
The print turns Bongsan Lion Dance on this Unisex Longsleeve T-shirt into a full left-to-right performance: a red lion mask takes the left field, its cream fringe folded densely enough to reveal red at the undersides. Cream and gold rings sharpen the bulging eyes around black pupils, while thick black brows press down over them. Gold dots mark the rounded nose. White whisker strokes lead into a black mouth, where cream triangular teeth make an uneven, closely packed row. Pale gold cloud curls travel across the cream drapery before it breaks into layered fringed legs.
At the right, the dancer is caught with one knee lifted and one arm raised, bringing cream trousers, dark blue panels, gold edging, green sleeve bands and a red sash into the same scene. Long cream ribbons show their red backs as they curl overhead and descend along the right edge. The lettering below uses dark decorative serif forms outlined in gold; the L and D are enlarged, and EST 1915 is divided by diamond-centred rules. BONGSAN is spaced widely between fine lines. “Bongsan” identifies the Korean lion-dance tradition; “Lion Dance” names the performance in English.
