Design story & product details
Gray space is allowed to do real work here: a broad break opens between the looping Victory Lap lettering and the main illustration, with another clean interval before the banner. The Built For Speed artwork on the Heavyweight Unisex Crewneck T-shirt is arranged like a vintage road-racing placard, using cream, black, and red against the gray field. Champion Roadsters arches along the upper field, while the Always in the Lead panel gives the composition a firm lower edge.
The main illustration is a red coupe placed center-right, carrying cream double racing stripes over its hood and roof. Its door and hood each carry a white roundel marked 77, and black side vents cut into the body. Wire-spoke wheels, dark windows, and the subdued gray shadow under the car keep its detail crisp without filling the open ground.
Victory Lap is drawn in large cream cursive edged in black, its tall ascenders and looped descenders crossing through the middle. Jagged red lightning bolts flank the script. An oval Since 1964 badge uses a thin dark edge and tiny red diamonds; below, Built for, No., and Speed King form a smaller cursive sequence, with a large cream 77 carrying the eye toward the bordered black banner.
