Description
The interplay of warm tan parchment and deep ink brushwork drives the balance across the artwork, with mottled edges that bear the wear of age. At the heart is a wild boar depicted head-on, its build carved out through dense layered strokes in brown, cream, and black, the striped bristle pattern slightly asymmetrical along the shoulders. Careful brush control gives the fur its arc and energy, while the yellow-amber eyes deliver a focal spark. Two magpies in sharp contrast perch along the boar’s back—their opposing stances and long black tail feathers break up the curve of the animal’s spine.
