Printed on a heavyweight oversized tee, the frosty block letters keep their copper-edged depth and the snow on their tops, so they look as solid as stamped metal. The joke is a truth every winter astronomer knows: the coats stay on and the roof comes off. Three bundled stargazers in parkas and backpacks stand on an icy grate while the observatory dome splits wide around a huge navy telescope.
