Design story & product details

The only empty space in this drawing is the strip of sky above the telescope, and that is the whole point. A split observatory dome swings open while three people in parkas and beanies stand on a snowy grate with their backs to us. Frosted block letters say it plainly: Coats stay on. The roof comes off. The copper chains and pistons along the dome edges give this long-sleeve tee its cold, mechanical weight.

It suits the amateur astronomer who stays out past midnight in January, waiting for a clear sky.
