Design story & product details
Salmon and cream establish the main contrast, with a hot-air balloon filling the upper field in fine vertical panels, scalloped swags, tassels and looping ropes. On the Unisex Longsleeve T-shirt, Cocktail Party Balloon gives that ornate balloon a curved black band across its broadest point.
Cream lettering follows the balloon’s arc and band: Everything for Cocktalls, a small cursive and, and Cocktail Parties. The unusually tall decorative letters carry salmon offset shading, while delicate flourishes taper out at either end of the black band.
Fine suspension lines pass through a generous stretch of open space before reaching the small brown basket. Its gridded sides frame two tiny figures, a scale shift that makes the basket feel especially remote from the gathering below.
A packed party scene runs along the bottom beside a salmon counter. Dark suits, striped jackets and black top hats alternate with cream, muted green and salmon dresses; some guests raise small stemmed glasses with reddish drinks. Faces turn in profile, face forward, or away from the viewer, giving the crowd a varied, closely observed arrangement.
