Design story & product details
Black, grey and white ink divides Coffee Merchant into three detailed illustration groups, with broad white breaks keeping their edges distinct. On the Heavy Blend Unisex Crewneck Sweatshirt, that separation gives the coffee imagery an assembled, emblem-like rhythm.
At left, a moustached man carries a small cup beneath a tall top hat, his striped three-piece suit built from fine shading. White Coffee script cuts across the lower jacket in a tight, joined hand; its looping capital is edged in black, while pale steam curls rise beside his cup. Pale 1927 appears beneath him.
Pointed leaves with visible veins and round berries frame the upper-right Coffee lettering. Its block letters are outlined, and the first C is enlarged into a long curve that runs underneath the remaining letters.
The lower-right cup has a right-side handle and a shaded body, resting on an elliptical saucer with another leaf-and-berry cluster below. Coffee Co. arches in pale lettering overhead, with 1974 to its right. Fine hatching deepens the cup and foliage without closing the white space between the three sections.
