The print on this heavyweight crewneck actively references all the equipment and care details that matter most when moving ice skates. “Skates in Transit” is displayed in large navy stencil type with a distressed, chalky look, each letter rimmed with a thick cream surround and uneven navy line that seem to echo the scuffed surface of arena walls. The pair of navy ice skates beneath are intricately rendered, from cream-threaded seams and heel details to the realistic set of rust-orange laces. If you pay attention to the skates, even the eyelets and blade mountings receive a clear highlight—and a diagonal cream blade guard stretches below, annotated with arrows and labeled lines, almost like an equipment diagram.
