Design story & product details

Tall, narrow serif capitals spell out Complicated on Purpose beneath a steel carabiner that has been bent and tied into a knot of its own. Hardware meant to make things simple is turned into a tangle, which makes it a climber’s joke and a quiet shrug from anyone whose life runs the same way. The knurled screw-lock gate is etched in fine engraving lines, and that detail carries the whole sweatshirt.
