Design story & product details
White space holds between the woman’s head and the upper tip of the moon, leaving the figures room to read separately. Crescent Guitar Muse brings a short-haired woman, an upright electric guitar and a gold lunar form into one restrained illustration for a Unisex Longsleeve T-shirt. She braces with her legs apart, her overlapping hands resting just over the guitar neck. Her reddish-brown long-sleeved minidress is closely drawn, while pale gold boots reach mid-calf and show a dark ladder of lacing down their fronts.
The moon opens to the left, its upper horn drawn out further than the lower one, which passes behind her left leg. Along the inner right curve, a face emerges in profile: eyebrow, lowered eye, nose and slightly parted lips are worked into the same crescent edge. Rust-red linework carries fine hatching across yellow-gold areas. The guitar body is rounded and red, enclosing a light gold pickguard; tiny controls, bridge marks and strings keep the instrument from becoming a simple silhouette.
