Design story & product details
White space beside the cat’s head and between the suspended stars gives the crowded illustration room to breathe. Fine black strokes build a seated grey cat, with cream catches in its fur, round golden eyes, a black nose, and whiskers drawn as long, spare lines. Its joined front paws hold the top of a curled cream ribbon, whose rolled ends reveal dark green beneath. Heavy serif type arcs overhead with cream faces, close gold edging, and black offset shadows, reading “The Purrfect Blend Of.” “Cute And Curious” runs in black serif capitals through the ribbon.
The artwork on the Heavyweight Unisex Crewneck T-shirt keeps the cat framed by cream flowers with ochre stamens and pointed dark green leaves. A mottled gold crescent follows its right side, while the thick tail curves through the lower right of the composition. Gold scrolls, fine curved lines, and pointed stars fill the remaining space without closing off the pale gaps around the head.
