Design story & product details
A distressed black Korea arch forms the largest mark, cutting across a red circular sun that breaks through in splatters behind its letters. Below it, a martial artist in a cream and tan dobok draws a black belt tight, the bowed head receding into shadow beneath a dark topknot. The unisex longsleeve T-shirt carries the full poster composition, including the figure’s chest patch marked Black Belt Form.
Dobok Study builds its detail through the surrounding study-sheet graphics: a date stack, striped bar, checkerboard symbol, wireframe globe and barcode run down the left edge. Dobok is the Korean word for a martial arts uniform, while Taekwondo means “the way of the foot and fist.” A red-edged hexagonal panel anchors the lower lettering, with Mind · Body · Discipline beneath it. Small crosshair marks punctuate the upper left and lower centre, while diagonal stripe fields sharpen the right-hand corners.
