Design story & product details

Five trumpet-shaped cells with fringed rims rise on long stems from a mossy twig, and a whole pond drop crowds in around them: slipper-shaped cells, ribbed diatoms, clover-like green clusters and a bead chain of tiny discs. The heavyweight crewneck tee carries the joke in tall serif capitals: Even this drop has a social life.

The fine stippled linework in sage and lavender looks like an old microscope plate. It suits a biology teacher who has spent years showing students what lives in pond water.
