Design story & product details

The illustration wraps around the ceramic mug and captures a wintery mountain scene with careful blocks of navy and pale blue line art set against a flat grey. Attention is drawn to WIND, labeled boldly in a navy block font among swirling blue arrow-streaks curving toward the main peak, while a more subtle LEE with a slender downward arrow denotes the calmer lee side. The artwork annotates the SNOW LINE with a dotted circle on the summit and traces down to a magnified inset that displays a stylized wave-like ridge, marking the terrain’s rugged details. In the main valley, a close group of dark geometric pine trees brings the design together at the center. Each letter of FIND THE SHELTERED SIDE is custom-filled with patterned triangles, navies, blues, and motifs that echo the mountain theme.

The upper right features a zoomed ridge diagram for added topographic context.
A circular emblem highlights “RIDGE WALKING SOCIETY EST. 1974.”
Along the base, a precise ruler graphic anchors the art and alludes to the measured approach of navigation.

Sea-blue, geometric text and annotated landforms give this mug a strong sense of outdoor orientation and should suit anyone who appreciates detailed, nature-inspired illustration.
