Design story & product details
“Groove” is written in a connected, right-slanting hand, its black body traced by fine pink and black lines. The oversized G opens into a wide loop on the left, then sends a long loop down beneath the word; at the other end, the e turns outward in a small curling finish.
Behind it, a capital M gives the lettering its frame without becoming unreadable. Salmon-pink faces are ringed in thick black, with narrow inset lines and black recessed wedges that make the letter read as cut into angled sides. Its outer upper points resolve as upward arrows, while the feet flare into sharp ornamental serifs.
On the Heavy Blend Unisex Crewneck Sweatshirt, Groove Gothic M holds the word and letter in deliberate overlap: black strokes gather densely through the middle, yet the G, the descending loop, and the spaces between the M’s legs stay open. Fine black drips slip from several tips and lower edges, an easy-to-miss counterpoint to the hard outlines.
The pink fill is not flat. Dense dark scratches and mottled scuffs move through it, giving the salmon surfaces a worked, weathered texture while the heavy script remains clear. The artwork’s only wording is “M Groove.”
