"Gwiyeowo Floof" Classic Dad Hat · Embroidered

Gwiyeowo Floof begins with Korean lettering for “cute,” built as a compact run of burnt-orange and mustard geometric forms. On the Classic Dad Hat, the word’s syllable blocks lean in slightly different directions, so the arrangement feels deliberately crowded and lively without losing its clear, heavy construction. Some edges overlap, compressing the spacing inside the Korean word and making the separate blocks read as one cluster.

The companion Latin transliteration, Gwiyeowo, uses the same solid orange-mustard tone but a calmer, level rhythm. Its evenly spaced forms use uniform strokes, flat terminals, and rounded O counters. It gives the Korean word an English-readable pronunciation while retaining the artwork’s compact visual language.

Each Korean syllable block is assembled from thick rectangular bars meeting at blunt right angles, with no softened corners in the outer construction. The embroidered mark retains small circular counters, some filled and some outlined, within the blockwork, along with a tiny triangular cut at the base of the rightmost character. A single, unblended color keeps the angled letters and the Roman line part of the same system.
