Design story & product details
The print turns the Unisex Longsleeve T-shirt into a dense brushwork scene, with two dancers moving through lettering and ornament. Cream, red, and black are held in rough-edged strokes, while open white breaks around the high ribbons keep the upper area from closing in.
One figure lifts a folding fan overhead while a second fan is held near the middle. Both fans pair cream panels and red borders with dark ribs and flowering black branches; flowing cream sleeves cross red skirts, sashes, and black clothing sections.
The other dancer carries a barrel-shaped drum with a cream head, brown sides, and red cords drawn in a crisscross. Two round-tipped beaters accompany it, while a tall looping hat ends in a cream pompom and trailing red ribbons. Black brush curves, red dots, petals, and cream blossoms continue the movement around the figures.
Across the crowded lower half, the lettering reads “Hanbok” in cream, “Drum” in red, and “Dance” in cream, with black backing beneath distressed, tapering flourishes. Hanbok is the Korean word for traditional dress, tying the calligraphy to the dancers’ clothing.
