Design story & product details
The fine borders around the four handling symbols give Handle With Care its first note of order: arrows, a cradled cube, glass and rain umbrella each receive their own square. On the Unisex Longsleeve T-shirt, that compact row reads like a shipping label before the type takes over. The Korean wording names “this side up,” “handle with care,” “fragile,” and “keep dry,” matching the instructions indicated by the icons.
- The main Korean phrase is set in exceptionally heavy, condensed black strokes, with squared ends that make the lettering feel built from label machinery.
- A slim divider leads to the smaller Korean lines: one says “100% organic,” another says “colors may vary,” and a brief label term literally reads “person type.”
- At the bottom, the twelve-digit barcode is kept to the left while three recycling arrows form a triangle on the right, leaving the two sides intentionally unmatched.
Flat mid-gray holds every mark in the same black, without tonal effects to soften the system. That restraint makes the rules, captions and number string read as one continuous package face, with the lower symbols providing its only asymmetry.
