Design story & product details
Heavy, angular blackletter builds the words “Hell OR OF Jesus” into a tall black arrangement, cut through with fine white breaks. On the Unisex Longsleeve T-shirt, Hell carries pointed terminals and hooked flourishes, while the large J in Jesus curls left from both its upper and lower ends. The small OF is enclosed by the rounded O in OR, an easily missed piece of lettering within the larger word.
Blazing and Spirit appear in smaller blackletter at the sides of the lower flame. Several tapering tongues rise from short outward spikes, and curved white gaps open the black shape from inside. A long pointed stem extends beneath it, leaving broader white space around the emblem than around the dense lettering.
White chips, scratches, and irregular missing patches break the letterforms and flame without softening their hard contours. Narrow white cuts divide the tall strokes of Hell, while the worn marks vary from small flecks to larger losses in the black fill. The composition relies on that uneven removal as much as its solid black shapes, keeping the words and emblem connected by a shared distressed finish.
