Design story & product details

A bearded iris in full ruffle, drawn like an old botanical engraving, is about as dressed up as a flower gets. The stencil-cut slogan across it says I call this dressing down. That is the joke of this oversized heavyweight tee: the fanciest thing in the garden is your idea of casual. The iris leaves weave in front of and behind the plum letters, so the words seem to grow out of the plant.

It suits a gardener who grows irises and still won’t put on a collared shirt.
